The 3D Smithy is our new 3D printing service.
This is a service available to UK customers to provide a place for people without a 3D printer to print their own files.
Ways of Printing
-
The quickest and cheapest option is single colour printing.
Our Bambu Labs H2C can print up to 305*320*325 mm³ in a single colour print.
-
Our Bambu Labs H2C printer is designed to print in multiple colours and reduce waste.
Currently up to five colours can be chosen for a single print.
Multi-colour prints must be made entirely of the same material.
-
If you need any simple 3D modelling or modifications done we may be able to help.
Materials
-
PLA (Polylactic acid) is the most common material used for 3D printing. It is produced from renewable resources and can be industrially composted.
It is a strong material however it is not recommended to use it for anything that requires high temperatures.
-
PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol-modified) is a strong and durable plastic that has a higher heat resistance as well as being slightly more flexible.
Currently we can only provide PETG in single colour.
